We start by understanding your brand identity, target audience, and product portfolio to ensure your DPP reflects your unique story. We also look at what musts be in your digital product passport from a legal perspective as well as what could go in there to add value to your business. For example, should we link to your aftermarket sales portal, to user manuals or an e-commerce platform?

From here, we create a master template that aligns with your brand values. You can provide this from your own 'in-house' team or our designers can create one for you. We start with design sketches before building it in our DPP platform.

We integrate with your existing systems, whether they are PIM, PLM or ERP systems. Via en API-integration, we pull the relevant product data automatically. This automated process means that once the connections have been made, a DPP for every product is created with a QR-code generated for each product automatically.

Let's take an example. You have a main product image in your PIM system and decide that it should land in the hero-space of your DPP. In addition, you have a product description in your PIM and we create a rule for where this should be placed. We do the same for raw materials, specifications, environmental emissions etc. All of these data attributes are linked from your database to our microsite platform so that we can automatically create DPP's for every product. We call this 'dynamic data' and it means the data stays in your databases. If you update them there, they will automatically update in our platform too. In addition, you may have static data that applies to all your DPP's and we can either input this data directly into the Kolla platform or fetch it also from your database.

We automatically generate unique QR codes for each product that link directly to their Digital Product Passport. We're following the GS1 Digital Link Standard so that each QR-code's URL follows this international standard. If you have another standard you are using, then we simply adjust to meet your needs.
